George Tonchev graduated with a BA from the University of Portsmouth program in IU Sofia, Bulgaria in 1997 and has worked in the company ever since. He is now a Senior Manager, dealing with online marketing and sales, and new travel products development.

At the age of 13 George went to Kuwait with his parents who worked there and stayed for 5 years till the Iraqi invasion, returning to Bulgaria at the dawn of democratic changes in 1990. Some very interesting times. After finishing high school George went into the army for a year and a half, before completing his BA at the International University in Sofia and joining his fathers' company - Orient Travel Ltd, where he now holds a senior management position.

"I am married to my biggest love - Olga, and have two wonderful children - a 3-year old boy named Stefan (after my father - a local tradition) and a 1-year old girl - named Elena (after my wife's mother). I guess you could say I am a family man and a traditionalist. I try to spend every free minute with them, although I always think I am not devoting enough time to them - you probably know this feeling.

I am a music lover and really enjoy live performances. I like Rock'n' Roll and have a lot of friends from local Hard Rock bands. I also enjoy traveling around the country, especially to places ‘off the beaten track'. In the little free time I have left, I enjoy customizing American cars, pick-ups and jeeps, although I am a real admirer of fast Italian sport cars".

George and the team are always looking for new ideas and ways to improve.
